For the longest time I couldn’t remember what these trees were called and I kept calling them azaleas. Turns out I was wrong - they are crepe myrtles.

You might notice that the Santa hat is on his head in this picture, but I assure you the candy cane served as a distraction for a total of 10 seconds before it was dropped and the hat was yanked off.

Our first family Christmas card. Designing the card was the easy part - see the previous posts for what it was like to get the photos.

Because my life wasn’t interesting enough I decided that this year I would take the pictures for our Christmas card and design our cards around the pictures I got. This is just a sampling of the photos from that little session, the previous post being my favorite of the bunch.
